Overview of band saw 

The band saw machine (also written band saw) is a power saw with a long, sharp blade consisting of a continuous band of toothed metal stretched between two or more wheels to cut material. They are used principally in woodworking, metalworking, and lumbering, but may cut a variety of materials. Advantages include uniform cutting action as a result of an evenly distributed tooth load, and the ability to cut irregular or curved shapes like a jigsaw. The minimum radius of a curve is determined by the width of the band and its kerf. Most band saws have two wheels rotating in the  ame plane, one of which is powered, although some may have three or four to distribute the load. Instructions for safe operation of band saw

1. Clean the main shaft and motor bearing once a year, and add enough high-speed lubricating grease

2. For long-term storage, the surface of the machine tool should be coated with oil to prevent rust. When moving, it is not allowed to collide and work hard

It is strictly forbidden to place heavy objects on the table to prevent deformation of the table. When storing, it is strictly forbidden to connect with corrosive gas touch.

3. When sawing, the feeding speed should not be too fast, according to the material, hardness, height and moisture content of the workpiece

5. When the tension of the band saw blade is changed, the position of the band saw blade should be readjusted to ensure no error.

7. When adjusting the machine tool, changing the saw blade and belt, the power must be cut off reliably. In case of accidental rotation of the machine tool. All fasteners must be firm and reliable.
